About us

We compare electric boats, electric boat motors and houseboats with electric drives for readers in the UK, Germany and the rest of Europe. We also publish guides to licences, lake rules, registration and costs, and every rule is backed by its official source.

How we compare

We do not retell press releases. Most of the time we put two manufacturers with similar products side by side, with the same data for both, and give our own view at the end.

Who we are

This site is published by Lakeberg GmbH in Berlin. Trading as E-SURFER, the company has been in electric watersports since 2017, starting with the first blog and YouTube channel about electric surfboards and today also selling eFoils, jetboards and electric tenders. The editor is Andreas Lakeberg, founder of E-SURFER.
